Alyce & Theo married in Albion, New York ✨

Chatting with these two when we hopped on their discovery call, I remember the joy they both had and how over the moon they were about one another. They were getting married at Alyce's Grandma's house in upper New York, so they were planning for the day to hold so much meaning.

And, it did. From the guest favors crafted by Alyce and her soon to be mother-in-law out of clay representing the family barn quilt, to the chicken coop being renovated into a spot for their guests, Alyce having a first look with her only grandparents, both of them greeting every single guest as the excited the ceremony, and so much more.

It was such a beautiful day that I was so thrilled to capture and honored to witness the love that Theo & Alyce share. ✨

I may be the worst when it comes to editing my own photos. These took me 9 months to get through... whoops!

Last September, I hiked Aspen to Crested Butte with @calysta.crum @jill_bergey & @jenny_yoder 🍂 We timed it perfectly to match up with the peak week of fall colors for the area and it was absolutely stunning! The whole reason we decided to do this hike was because @jeremy_yoderr ran his first ultra marathon in Crested Butte. 🥳

It may take many several months to get around to photos from moments I love, but when they're finished I love them and am happy to have them. 😍

For 11 years my mom & her friends have dedicated a day each November to make tons of cinnamon rolls to gift during the holidays. We eat them every Thanksgiving and Christmas morning and let me say, they're pretty fantastic. 🤤

Being a taste tester the last many years, I decided I'd help this time around. 💁🏻‍♀️ My mom insisted I make a cinnamon roll reel, so here it is!!

In need of a day trip from Tokyo? Try Kamakura!

We left in the morning to go to Kamakura and we were so glad we did. We needed a good break from the city and the beach did us well. This town was so neat and we wished we had a little more time to be there or to stay! On a clear dear you can see Mount Fuji, luckily we got to see the peak of the mountain, but not the entire thing. Although, I'll take it!!

We left the big city of Tokyo for this cool town, Fujiyoshida, that sits at the base of Mt. Fuji. We had high hopes to see the great mountain, and sadly the clouds never cleared. We decided to make the most of it by trying a phenomenal coffee shop in Shimoyoshida, Udon close to Mt. Fuji station, and visiting some temples. ✨

The train ride out was beautiful and it was neat to see some different scapes of Japan.

TeamLab Planets is a must gooooo in Tokyo!!!

It's always amazing to me how creative minds are. Art is insane. You're barefoot in this art museum so you can fully embrace the art with texture as well. Gross, yes but it made it an even better experience.

If you make it to Tokyo this year, definitely check this out!!

It's always amazing to me how creative minds are. Art is insane. You're barefoot in this art museum so you can fully embrace the art with texture as well. Gross, yes but it made it an even better experience.

A good ole' Saturday in Denver!

Here's what's we did...

1. Attempted to Float the Platt River.
The flow ended up being to low for it to be worthwhile so we moved on!

2. Breck Brew in Littleton.
There was a farmers market going on & they even have a Palisade Peach beer on tap!!

3. INK & DRINK
T-shirt printing & a bar! What! We printed t-shirts and it was so cool!

4. Burndown for dinner
Loved my pulled pork sandwich.

5. All the card games.

I like to put things like this into perspective because it helps me express so much gratitude! It's easy to compare and think you're not doing enough, but when I look at where I was a few years ago, I become so proud of myself! A younger me wanted this so bad! She even received things better than she could have imagined!

Proof that really all things will be okay. Jesus has a plan that is far greater than you can imagine. ✨

I realized that one of the biggest things I love about traveling and new places, is that I feel like a kid. I see things with fresh eyes that inspires me, strikes curiosity, and gives me this bright look ( sometimes not) on the world that I'm living in. I love ittt!!!

Headed to Japan in a little over a week and excited to see a new place. I am interested to see how I'll be inspired by the textures and design of Tokyo and the way of life there. It'll be the biggest city I will have been to and I think I'm going to be out of my comfort zone the entire time. Fresh & innocent eyes!

FINALLY, ( lol) the last wedding post! For now anyway!

Our private vows!! The original plan was to have our ceremony down by the gazebo, after lots of research and the hassel we decided to switch to the beach. Jeremy didn't want to have a first look, but I really wanted to be able to do something together before our ceremony. With all that being said, we decided on private vows on the gazebo steps. I got to see Jeremy, but he couldn't see me!

I loved this moment and I loved hearing Jeremy's vows. With the slight breeze, and clouds coming in and out I vowed to love @jeremy_yoderr forever in such a special spot. ✨

Ringing in a new decade ✨

Every birthday, whether it be a few days before, a few days after, or the day of my favorite thing to do is sit and journal for hours. Reflect on all the good and look back on how much I learned. Then I like to set new goals for the year and hope for the best for my new age.

This morning, I sat, journaled and sipped on some coffee while the sunshine came and went. This last year was very hard. This last year also was such a great year filled with lots of change, celebration, questions, and learning.

What's the most crazy is how much can change in a year. Heck! I wasn't even engaged my last birthday and my life looks completely different than a year ago with lots of new people in it.

Here's to 20. More mountains, more travel, more love, more experiences, and more fun! Can't wait to share all of it 🎉🎉
