Press handstand update!! 🤸 Holds are getting longer, but I'm not very consistent. I need to figure out what my next move is from here because I am going to need to get a lot stronger to be able to press handstand! 💪🏻

When you check the winter forecast maybe believe what it says it's going to do and don't continue on 💁🏻‍♀️ @rebekahstamoss and I attempted to get to Sky Pond a few winters ago. We came prepared with snow shoes, spikes, all the water, and food, but we were not prepared for there to be several more feet of snow than All Trails said AND in sane winds. To make it worse Bek had come from Florida two days earlier and was not fully acclimated. ❄️❤️ We did not make it to Sky Pond, but I will remember this adventure forever!! Grateful for a friend like @rebekahstamoss 🥹

Day of pretty normal eating for me!! When I first tried to hit a protein goal of 100g I was BLOWN away by how much I was under eating. I was MAYBE eating 1300 calories a day and I probably only got 40-50g of protein. I convinced myself I was eating so much food. I gradually had to increase my food intake to get to my protein goal but I stared to see so many changes in my metabolism, gym progress, and overall health. I know some people hate tracking. I don't love it either and I don't want to see food as numbers. Looking at it from a macro perspective was super helpful and I only tracked at the beginning to see what portion sizes should be. Every so often (like today) I will track to make sure I'm eating enough!

As women we can be nervous to eat more food, but I promise you eating enough food will do you wonders!! Stop starving yourself!!

Not sure anything beats a slow Sunday morning and pancakes. 🥞🌞 I've been making this recipe for a little bit and we loveeeee it!! An easily digestible carb!

1 1/2 cup einkorn flour ( I have been using Jovial)
1 tbsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp butter (melted or softened)
1 tsp vanilla
As much cinnamon as you'd like! 😍

I'm sure you could make these waffles, maybe add some more flour! :) Makes about 12 pancakes. Macros for two pancakes is 6P 8F 20C !!

Use whatever toppings or add ins you'd like!! Tag me if you try, I hope you love them! 😄

Found this recipe from @glowingwithgracee and it is to die for!!!

Recipe:
-1 cup mashed sweet potato (about 1 large potato or 2 medium potatoes)
-1 cup nut butter, I used almond butter
-2 eggs
-1 tosp coconut oil (or avocado/olive oil)
-2 tosp maple syrup
-2 tsp vanilla
-1/2 cup cacao or cocoa powder
-1 tsp baking soda
-handful of chocolate chips (optional)
Ganache Topping
-1 cup chocolate chips
-1/3 cup coconut cream or milk

Cook at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes! Don't over cook!

Dipping into calisthenics has been a challenge and I'm loving it. Every handstand hold I get, I am so excited! I can hold a pretty good L-sit and I'm getting longer and longer handstand holds. This video is so accurate though because it takes so many tries to get a good handstand and hopefully soon I can be more consistent! Loving this journey!

I remember when I told my parents I didn't want to go to college. There was some resistance at first, but that next May my dad took me to my first out of state content retreat in Idaho and I knew then I could do it!!

Every year running my business, it looks a little bit different, but I'm still so happy my high school self took a leap of faith.

Jeremy's training for a race again and I felt a spark to go for a run... lol. 🏃‍♀️ I seriously couldn't tell you why or how any person enjoys running ultra marathons- to each their own!! I I love getting to cheer @jeremy_yoderr on in such a hard thing. He's training for a 29 mile race in Grand Junction this spring and I figured I'd tag along for a few miles!

It's Sunday, but here's my Friday day in my life: grocery shopping, some work, & the gym! When I have the time I go up to @7thgenerationfarm to get our meat for the next three weeks to month. All their meats are quality and taste soooo good. Some of our favorites are their bacon, ground beef, NY Strips! They have beef, pork, chicken, raw honey, & more! I decided to stop at @nudefoodsmarket because I was already so close to Boulder. I found this gem on Instagram recently and knew I needed to stop in! They are a grocery store filled with things from local farms and businesses.

My Friday was chill and I loved every second of it!
